Chemists Take Gold with NIS’ Support

Aleksa Milosavljević, a student of the Svilajnac Secondary School, won the gold at this most prestigious international chemistry competition; the silver medals went to Miloš Grubor, Belgrade Mathematical Grammar School, and Miloš Selaković, Užice Grammar School, while the bronze medal went to Stefan Stojanović, Leskovac Grammar School. The Serbian team had been selected following a series of competitions of the Serbian Chemical Society, the final challenge being the Serbian Chemistry Olympiad organised with NIS support for the third year running. Through the corporate programme "Energy of Knowledge," NIS invests in the development of education and science, assists young talents in their further development and helps them to participate in competitions. Collaboration with universities and science institutions is just one of many segments of NIS' corporate social responsibility policy implemented under the slogan "Future at Work.
