NIS Wins the Best from Serbia Award

On NIS’ behalf, the award was received by Miloš Aleksić, who works as an engineer-technologist in the Exploration and Production, whose idea for increasing operational efficiency was awarded in the Company’s internal contest This prestigious recognition is awarded by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and economy-centered newspaper "Economic overview". This is the second time that the Company receives the Best from Serbia Award for corporate brand, which is yet another proof of our quality and our consumers’ trust. This year the Serbian Chamber of Commerce has introduced one novelty and, in line with the slogan "The best in human beings", it has decided that the prizes should be received by selected employees on behalf of the companies. On NIS’ behalf, the award was received by Miloš Aleksić, who works as an engineer-technologist in the Exploration and Production, whose idea for increasing operational efficiency was awarded in the Company’s internal contest. This year’s was the 11th Best from Serbia campaign, and as many as 160 commodity and corporate brands participated in the competition. Winners were elected on the basis of three groups of criteria – market and financial criteria, respondents’ perception and expert jury’s evaluations. Members of the expert jury were: Marko Čadež, Chair of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Rasim Ljajic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Željko Sertić Minister of Economy, Drago Delić, Director of “Economic overview”, dr Goran Petković and dr Saša Veljković, professors at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, Vera Vida, Chairwoman of the Steering Board of the Serbian Consumers Centre, Stojan Vučinić, a representative of Jugoinspekt, Miša Lukić, President of Leo Burnet Steering Board and dr Slobodan Milosavljević, Advisor to the Chair of Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
