NIS Campaigning for Greater Road Traffic Safety in Serbia

The Week of Road Traffic Safety has been organised traditionally for the third consecutive year, under the Cooperation Protocol between NIS and the Road Traffic Agency. The campaign will be conducted as a series of lectures at the NIS Business Centre in Novi Sad. Current topics such as the safe participation of children, young people and motorcyclists in road traffic, as well as the general principles of safe behaviour of all traffic participants will also be covered this year. Road traffic safety indicators in Serbia and at NIS will be covered as specific topics. The event will feature shows for children and panels for youngsters accessible to people with disabilities. The visitors will also have an opportunity to take part in presentations of protective equipment for motorcyclists and the demonstration of “drunk goggles”. A traditional competition of NIS’s professional drivers - Driver Challenge 6 will be held at the NIS training ground in Zrenjanin on Saturday, 30 September as the final event of this year’s Week of Road Traffic Safety. The Week of Road Traffic Safety has been organised traditionally for the third consecutive year, under the Cooperation Protocol between NIS and the Road Traffic Agency. The purpose of this event is to improve general road traffic safety, educate children, young people and future drivers about the risks they may face as active traffic participants and their prevention, provide information about risk groups in traffic, promote the corporate social responsibility of NIS and engage proactively in improving the general road traffic safety of the employees.
