NIS Donation to Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina

NIS Company handed a donation over to the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina in Novi Sad The collected funds of over 16 million dinars are intended for procurement of medical equipment that will improve the work of this important health care institution. Donation to the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina in Novi Sad is part of a wider philanthropic action initiated by NIS employees donating funds, which the company then doubled. The campaign was then organized at the NIS petrol stations called "You and me for the Children's Hospital in Novi Sad", during which at least 25 liters of derivatives were donated by the company for 25 dinars for the needs of the hospital. Modern medical equipment to be provided with the support of NIS will greatly facilitate and speed up the treatment of children in this health institution. In this way, NIS provided support to one of the most important healthcare institutions in Serbia that deals with the protection, treatment and care of children and youth from the territory of Vojvodina. Jadranka Jovanović-Privrodski, Acting Director of the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina, Igor Mirovic, the Chairman of the Provincial Government, Kirill Turdenev, the CEO of NIS On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, thanked NIS for the donation. "We have demonstrated that it is possible to achieve great results by joint forces. We will continue in 2018 with the support and provision of the best health conditions, both for our youngest and for the entire health system. I would also like to thank the Institute's employees for the organization, the effort and the energy we are investing in, so that the most valuable thing we have, and that's our youngest, were healthy and that in the future we would have a healthier nation, "Mirovic said. Kirill Turdenev, the CEO of NIS, emphasized that the health of the youngest is the most important and that NIS did not have any dilemma when these funds were defined by the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina. "The privilege is to do something good for the community and it's a permanent commitment and part of our strategy. I believe that our consumers who joined us in this action feel and feel like that. In the end, let me be a little parent, not just a director. I want healthy children, because there is no greater joy than that. Few thousands of mothers and dads working in NIS and hundreds of thousands of parents who are our consumers will be your support, "Turdenev said. Jadranka Jovanović-Privrodski, Acting Director of the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina, thanked NIS for the donation that will be used for the purchase of state-of-the-art appliances. "With this human gesture, NIS company, among other things, has shown together with state institutions how it can contribute to improving health, in this case the youngest population. She showed social responsibility and I hope that other companies will follow this example. Children get a lot, and we all get a better future together, because investing in our children is an investment in our future. I thank you once again on behalf of all the 400,000 children who gravitate to our Institute, "said Jadranka Jovanović-Privrodski. In line with the corporate slogan "The future at work," NIS continues to support medical institutions of vital importance to society. Thus, in 2017, NIS allocated around 370 million dinars for socially responsible projects, including humanitarian action, during which funds were collected for the purchase of modern medical devices and equipment for improving the work of the University Children's Clinic "Tiršova" in Belgrade. With that donation, NIS became the largest single donor of the Tiršova Clinic.
