During Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Serbia in January this year, NIS signed memorandums of cooperation with two prestigious Russian universities. In addition to these agreements, memorandums were signed between Russian and Serbian universities. The University of Novi Sad has established cooperation with Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, while the University of Belgrade signed a memorandum with St. Petersburg Mining University.
