This is the fifth time that NIS has won this award, which reaffirms that transparent and timely reporting to all stakeholders about the Company’s most important activities is one of its strategic priorities.

On behalf of NIS, the Golden Plaque Award was received by Jelena Miljuš, Head of the Investor Relations Section, at the 16th International Conference of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, held in Belgrade today.

The award was given based on the assessment of 35 criteria of company openness to the investment audience, including appearance in investor conferences in the past year, current and historical reports published, information about company performance in the capital market (price of shares and value of turnover), company presence in social networks, contact information and audio and video files for investors published on the company webpage, Corporate Governance Code published, etc.

The panel deciding on the awards included respected financial analysts and a university professor. Apart from NIS, the award was given to Valamar Riviera, a company from Poreč, for making the greatest progress in the quality of investor relations in 2017.

This September NIS’s website for investors (http://ir.nis.eu) won Gold Stevie International Business Award for the Best Investor Relations Website in the category of specialised websites for providing information to investors and shareholders, which is yet another reaffirmation of NIS’s transparent relations with its investors and shareholders.
