Aviation Fuel

One of NIS’s most important business activities is the supply of aviation fuel produced at the Pančevo Oil Refinery to aircraft.

NIS supplies almost all airlines flying to the Belgrade Airport.

Jet fuel produced by NIS is compliant with the relevant international and domestic standards. The certified laboratory integrated into the Aero Services facilities exclusively conducts aviation analyses. Using state-of-the-art equipment, the laboratory monitors all activities – from fuel reception and storage to the dispatch of fuel to tank trucks which refuel the aircrafts.

NIS supplies almost all airlines flying to the Belgrade Airport, with Air Serbia, Aeroflot, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways being some of our biggest clients.

NIS owns a state-of-the-art facility for the storage and distribution of aviation fuel at Belgrade Airport, which is the best equipped facility of its kind in the region. NIS Aero Services meets strict supply standards regarding reliability and speed. This has been verified by the high scores given by IATA, which controls all operational segments of air traffic.

NIS offers the following types of jet fuel:

  • Jet fuel Jet A-1 compliant with Defence Standard 91-91/issue no. 7, produced at the Pančevo refinery
  • Aircraft fuel (Avgas 100LL) compliant with Defence Standard 91-90/issue no. 3, supplied to various airlines

Aircraft landing at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade and Konstantin Veliki Airport in the city of Niš owned by carriers that do not have a signed agreement with NIS can be re-fuelled if their pilots have credit cards issued by World Fuel Services, or Master Card, Euro Card, American Express or Visa International payment cards.
