In the course of the application procedure for the initiative named "Common Cause & Community" NIS supported the renovation of the Puppet Theatre from the town of Nis Funds provided by NIS were used for the renovation of the stage, whereby the Theatre, got a real ballet stage, for the first time since its establishment. NIS recognized the importance of this institution, which is being visited by about 30,000 people annually, mostly children of preschool and school age, and as a result it brought about better work conditions for the activities of this unique Theatre. NIS has been implementing the program of support to local communities for the seventh year in a row. Projects selected from the public applications for the initiative "Common Cause & Community" contribute to the development of local communities, facilitating the work of many institutions and promoting the performance of cultural, educational and sports institutions.
